about

"Hope Is Free" can be seen as the direct continuation of Semaj Spitz' last album "In Case You Lose Footing." ICYLF was about a story of repentance from pride & other sin. "Hope Is Free" is about rejoicing & glorifying the Lord our God which is the sole reason Spitz is happy in life.

In the self titled intro, Spitz' wife speaks proudly of how she is of him doing the last album. Spitz turns a bit introspective, revealing how it was growing up and how it can only be with God's grace.

"Wanna Be Great" is a song that's gotten hundreds of people through the hard time of Covid-19. Spitz turns the listeners to the Lord and speaks about how Jesus offers peace & security during hard times like these.

"Hosanna" is a song where the East Orange native glorify's the second coming of Jesus Christ, almost like a theme song of what the time would sound like.

Semaj Spitz ultimately shows off his rapping abilities in "Rich Forever," doing a mock interview with "Mid-day Tray" and speaks highly about having heavenly riches instead of physical vanity.

Overall Semaj Spitz concludes this year with introspection but turning to the Lord glorifying him in the most best way that he could. Hoping that listeners from all over can do the same.

about

Semaj Spitz East Orange, New Jersey

Spitz had dreams of getting signed after making a buzz various places, which includes getting music placed on VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop, but took a small hiatus on music & in the process he found Jesus after going through various trials & tribulations.

Spitz came to an agreement that all of his music may not directly glorify/praise God, but NONE of it will go against God’s standards.
